We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will lead the development of requirement specifications for advanced features in industrial equipment. Collaborating with global teams across various locations, you will play a key role in integrating innovative technologies into complex systems.
The Senior Systems Engineer's Role Will Involve:
Collaborating with stakeholders to translate product requirements into prioritized, actionable user stories aligned with project goals.
Developing and maintaining detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) that include technical specifications, workflow diagrams, and use cases to guide development teams.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and quality assurance, to validate and refine requirements.
Analyzing product requirements for feasibility, constraints, and optimization opportunities while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify challenges and propose solutions.
Participating in design reviews to provide technical guidance and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
Staying informed on industry trends and advancements in mining and earth-moving equipment technology.
Providing technical support and troubleshooting throughout the product development lifecycle.
The Senior Systems Engineer Will Ideally Have the Following Attributes:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years' experience developing Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and user stories.
Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering methodologies and agile development processes.
Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards related to heavy industrial equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize product requirements.
Proven ability to create clear and actionable documentation that supports team productivity and project success.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical details to diverse audiences.
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) systems.
Certification in Systems Engineering (e.g., INCOSE CSEP).
Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to mining and earth-moving equipment.
