Job Title: Data Management Specialist - Data Quality and Governance
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months (Possible Extension)
Overview:
Seeking a Data Management Specialist to join its Data Quality and Governance team. This team is integral to supporting the digitization of products/services, driving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional client experiences. The role focuses on enhancing data quality across various data flows and supporting data strategy and governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Quality Rules Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, implement, and maintain data quality rules covering the trade lifecycle, including RFQ, Order/Executions, Trades, MTM, and Positions data.
Data Quality Analysis: Analyze data quality exceptions, identifying root causes and business impacts of data quality issues.
Process Automation & Reporting: Improve data quality process automation, governance, and reporting.
Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present updates to senior management, both written and verbal, ensuring clear communication of progress and issues.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to standards for Program, Project, and Data Management.
Required Skills and Experience:
Data management initiatives, particularly in Pre-Trade/Post-Trade activities such as RFQ, Order/Executions, Trades, MTM, Positions, etc.
SQL Proficiency: Strong ability to write and optimize SQL queries and review stored procedures.
Data Management Tools: Familiarity with Tableau is a plus; experience with database management and reporting/analytics tools is essential.
Experience working with Capital Markets and related asset classes.
Messaging Protocols: Knowledge of FIX and XML messaging is a plus.
Issue Tracking & Governance: Experience with systems such as JIRA or HPQC for issue tracking and governance is a plus.
