This position will have a key role in supporting digital projects for our engagement with a high-profile automotive client. Key responsibilities include working on the front-end of web and mobile applications while leveraging best practices using Angular throughout the software development lifecycle. This person must work effectively and cross-functionally with clients and vendors while delivering high-quality code in support of the marketing technology team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform front-end development using Angular's component-based architecture.
Assess, create, and maintain reusable components, directives, and services to ensure consistency and modularity on user interfaces and other front-end applications.
Work with RESTful APIs to communicate, fetch, and display data dynamically, collaborating with back-end developers to ensure seamless data integration.
Integrate third-party libraries with the codebase to extend functionality.
Monitor and ensure code adheres to performance standards, leveraging features such as lazy loading, AOT (Ahead-of-Time) compilation, and change detection strategies.
Collaborate within a cross-functional team to gather requirements and translate into technical specifications.
Work closely with QA engineers to design and implement test cases, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Complete application code reviews and testing.
Debug and troubleshoot to ensure code quality and reliability.
Validate that Angular applications are mobile-friendly and compatible across devices.
Utilize HTML/CSS to create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
Utilize Agile delivery methods and processes to effectively track user stories, estimate level of effort, and prioritize work effectively during sprint planning with your assigned team.
Stay informed about evolving technologies and industry developments to enhance and refine software development practices continuously.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree required with Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar discipline preferred.
Minimum 3 - 5 years of front-end development experience.
Proficient with Angular, JavaScript (coding without JQuery), TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and Micro Frontends (MFE).
Hands-on experience developing and maintaining frameworks for modular, reusable components.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and working with WebSockets.
Strong front-end experience handling asynchronous operations, DOM manipulation, and third-party libraries.
Strong software development skills and testing knowledge with a focus on architecture and design.
Strong programming skills and debugging skills.
Skilled in stepping through minified code.
Knowledge of SQL, Java, ReactJS, and Python.
Knowledge of AWS.
Basic understanding of different products of the Adobe Experience Cloud, especially with Adobe Experience Manager.
Basic understanding of analytics tag management services, preferably supporting Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics platforms, along with a variety of marketing and advertising technologies a plus.
General scripting (e.g. regular expressions, Nodejs, etc.) experience.
Basic knowledge of consumer privacy and staying in compliance with data protection regulations.
Familiarity with implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms like SSO and OAuth.
Experience working under an Agile/Scrum framework.
Can multi-task and quickly adapt to changing and conflicting priorities, while working independently.
Critical thinker who can problem solve and is detail-oriented and organized.
Excellent written/verbal communication and client relationship management skills.
