Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Early-Stage Collections Specialist to manage delinquent accounts, resolve customer inquiries, and deliver exceptional customer service. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing a positive client experience while supporting our collections operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle delinquent accounts (5-44 days past due) by making collections calls and monitoring account status.
Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally.
Initiate appropriate collection actions to ensure timely resolution.
Work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment focused on quality and productivity.
Promote company products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify solutions and improve processes.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including TCPA, FDCPA, Regulation E, Z, X, V, SCRA, and the Flood Disaster Protection Act.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage servicing or collections.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
In-depth knowledge of mortgage industry regulations.
