Here are key areas where you can directly contribute value. You will:
Evaluate new business submissions and renewal applications, ensuring they align with company underwriting guidelines.
Handle policy issuance, manage daily workflows, and maintain exceptional service standards.
Interact with customers and company underwriters to resolve service issues and provide quotes.
Contribute to team goals by writing Standard Operating Procedures and suggesting innovative ideas.
Interact with customers and company underwriters to resolve service issues and provide quotes.
Provide backup support to colleagues as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of laws, guidelines, and best practices of insurance.
Good time management skills with the ability to work with frequent interruptions.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
One to three years of related experience.
Commercial P&C underwriting experience is preferred but not required.
