The Shared Services Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer will be the primary role for the design, implementation, and maintenance of identity and access management (IAM) solutions within the broader BCI organization. The IAM Engineer will ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of the organization's identity infrastructure, enabling seamless access to resources while maintaining strict security controls. This role will be responsible for enterprise level support, standards and best practices for identity access management (IAM) and IAM related services.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in identity and access management technologies, concepts, relevant knowledge of IAM business, and strong technical expertise.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer will be accountable for the following functions for the business units served by the Shared Services organization:
Identity Access Management (IAM): Strategy and Oversight
Design, implement, and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions integrating both on-premises and cloud-based environments
Lead and/or participate in IAM-related projects and initiatives, such as implementing new security measures, integrating systems, or enhancing access control processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their identity and access needs, providing expert guidance and customized solutions.
Align access controls with changing roles and requirements to ensure that access remains appropriate and secure.
Act as the IAM process manager, define standards and procedures, and ensure adherence at all levels. Maintain detailed documentation of the identity and access management program and subsequent processes.
