JOB SUMMARY

The Shared Services Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer will be the primary role for the design, implementation, and maintenance of identity and access management (IAM) solutions within the broader BCI organization. The IAM Engineer will ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of the organization's identity infrastructure, enabling seamless access to resources while maintaining strict security controls. This role will be responsible for enterprise level support, standards and best practices for identity access management (IAM) and IAM related services.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in identity and access management technologies, concepts, relevant knowledge of IAM business, and strong technical expertise.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer will be accountable for the following functions for the business units served by the Shared Services organization:

• Identity Access Management (IAM): Strategy and Oversight
• Design, implement, and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions integrating both on-premises and cloud-based environments
• Lead and/or participate in IAM-related projects and initiatives, such as implementing new security measures, integrating systems, or enhancing access control processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their identity and access needs, providing expert guidance and customized solutions.
• Align access controls with changing roles and requirements to ensure that access remains appropriate and secure.
• Act as the IAM process manager, define standards and procedures, and ensure adherence at all levels. Maintain detailed documentation of the identity and access management program and subsequent processes.
• Identity Access Management (IAM): Administration, and Operations
• Perform platform-specific administration (Active Directory, EntraID, PingID)
• Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and other access control mechanisms
• Ensure on-premise MFA and Service Account security though Silverfort policy enforcement.
• Oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Privileged Identity.
• Collaborate with IT and Cyber Security teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing infrastructure and applications.
• Actively participate in resolving high-priority outages, troubleshooting and problem resolution.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Work Experience: (All bullet items are Required and must be demonstratable)
• 5+ years' experience administration, maintenance and/or troubleshooting in the Information Technology field.
• 2+ years' experience directly in identity and access management, with a focus on implementing and managing IAM solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and directory services (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory).
• Experience with authentication and federation tools, such as PingID and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Security knowledge which covers core technology infrastructure (Account management, servers, databases, etc.) identity management and application security practice.
• Understanding of the developer experience as it relates to entitlements management.
• Industry Certifications (A certification focusing on IAM is Desirable)
• Any Identity Management Institute (IMI) certification
• Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)
• Certified Identity and Security Technologist (CIST)
• Certified Identity Governance Expert (CIGE)
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator
• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
• Vendor specific IAM certification (i.e., PingID, Okta IdP, AWS IAM, etc.)
