Program Manager

Draper, Utah / Onsite

We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and motivated Program Manager to lead the scheduling, pricing, and technical aspects of our projects. In this role, you will ensure compliance with U.S. government contracts, address complex challenges, and negotiate new agreements. Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to contract obligations.
  • Must be eligible for U.S. security clearance upon hire.
  • 8+ years of experience in program management preferred.
  • Radiation industry experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with federal contracts, especially Department of Defense (DoD), is highly valued.

Additional Skills:
  • Strong background in project management and continuous improvement.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of radiation detection technology is advantageous but not necessary.
  • Excellent client-facing communication abilities.
  • Proven experience in organizing and leading meetings with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Previous experience managing government contracts or programs is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Expertise in time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
  • High level of professionalism, maturity, and the ability to work independently.
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and unforeseen challenges.
  • Strong integrity and ethical standards.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a complex program with various contract types such as Fixed-Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Fixed-Price Incentive Fee (FPIF).
  • Address technical and scheduling issues and engage in crucial customer conversations, ensuring a balance between company and client needs.
  • Assist with technical proposal development and contract negotiations.
  • Track project performance, focusing on achieving both short-term milestones and long-term goals.
  • Provide regular performance updates to customers through formal reviews and working groups.
  • Supervise ongoing pricing, procurement, production, and conformance testing activities.
  • Oversee product improvements within the program, including Engineering Change Proposals, Variance Requests, and Corrective Action Reports.
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with customers.
  • Maintain project schedules and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines or make necessary adjustments.
  • Manage program budgets and timelines.
  • Participate in cost accounting for government contracts.
  • Provide feedback to senior management on project requirements and progress.
  • Make decisions that align with company policies and procedures while exercising sound judgment.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop project schedules, cost estimates, and technology designs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
