Our client, a distinguished leader in the lighting industry, is seeking a Lighting Project Estimator professional to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on supporting the sales and inside teams in delivering innovative lighting solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in lighting and excel in assembling accurate and competitively priced bills of materials (BOMs) for specified and design-build projects.

Focus:
Develop detailed and timely quotations for specified and design-build projects to electrical contractors and distributors.
Support the sales and inside teams with design questions, calculations, and cutsheet packages.
Assemble accurate bills of materials, offering value engineering (VE) options when necessary.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, ensuring a high level of organizational efficiency.
Communicate with clients, manufacturers, and team members to address inquiries and resolve project-related issues.
Skill Set:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the lighting or construction industry.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the lighting industry.
Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in reading lighting plans, specifications, and fixture schedules.
Strong knowledge of Excel and Word, with familiarity in lighting design software such as AGI32 and Oasis being a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
Proven track record of successfully meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
