Procurement Leadership: Oversee procurement activities to source materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring all items meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Purchase Order Management: Manage the end-to-end purchase order process from requisition to delivery.
Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms and pricing.
Inventory Coordination: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production and inventory control teams to maintain material availability.
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and industry pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance procurement efficiency.
Performance Tracking: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities, including supplier performance, on-time delivery, and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years in procurement or purchasing management, ideally within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and drive cost savings.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with materials used in the oil & gas industry, structural steel fabrication, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
