Key Responsibilities:

Systems:
  • Analyze and understand business needs and provide data and reports needed for decision making.
  • Design, test, and implement new systems or modify existing ones to meet business needs.
  • Determine the feasibility and cost / benefit of system changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop specifications and make recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation to serve as a reference for users and technical staff.
  • Train users and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor system performance and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in the selection and implementation of new software or hardware.

Cost Accounting:
  • Develop Cost Standards and keep the Standard Cost System updated on a regular basis.
  • Analyze and audit our inventory costing to ensure inventory valuations are accurate for both the financial reporting and the ERP System.
  • Serve as a backup for our Financial Reporting and Accounts payable positions when needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • ERP experience with concentration in manufacturing and cost accounting.
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
