Downtown Chicago law firm seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the IT team. Prior experience supporting a technology group highly preferred.
Base $80-90k
Hybrid role - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the department manager and team with calendar management, scheduling travel arrangements, expense reports, and record keeping
Prepare requisitions and process invoices
Assists with meeting preparation including agendas, logistics, compiling data etc.
Oversee conference room calendar, ensuring appropriate audio/visual equipment and any other materials made available if required
Coordinates office moves and facility related requests
Maintains department org chart and email distribution lists
Requirements:
BA degree and/or 5+ years of experience supporting a team of executives in legal, finance, accounting or other professional services
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Self-starter who anticipates needs and has a sharp eye for detail
Demonstrates the ability to function with a high degree of initiative and ability to handle and discern the importance and urgency of multiple high priority tasks concurrently
Interpersonal skills to communicate and work collaboratively with all levels of management and staff
