Position Summary:
The FP&A Consultant will play a vital role in assisting with developing and standardizing financial reporting. This position will support various process improvements and contribute to comprehensive financial analyses for various initiatives and projects for our client. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze financial performance, and provide insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role is Hybrid, with 2-3 days a week onsite required.
Essential Duties:
Assist in creating standardized reporting packages using tools such as Anaplan and Power BI.
Collaborate with teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across reporting processes.
Support the preparation of monthly estimates by gathering inputs, analyzing variances, and summarizing results for leadership.
Conduct analyses on supply chain and operational spending to identify optimization opportunities.
Support contract review processes with financial insights and evaluations.
Assist with tracking cost-saving initiatives and identifying areas for improvement in collaboration with finance teams.
Provide financial support for site-level capital projects and operational investments.
Act as a liaison for financial compliance and audit activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, is required.
5-7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role.
Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., SAP) and data analysis tools like Excel or Power BI.
Job Specific Competencies:
Experience in the energy, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Eagerness to learn and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure to cost analysis, forecasting, or project finance is a plus.
Travel Requirements: No travel is required, unless requested by the client.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to, education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $60-75 on W2.
