The Customer Accounts Specialist is a vital part of the Revenue Cycle Management team in Livermore, California. This is a full-time, onsite role, requiring candidates to handle inbound inquiries about billing statements, provide high-quality customer service, and resolve outstanding patient account balances promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls related to billing statements, addressing customer questions and concerns.
Conduct follow-ups on outstanding patient balances to ensure timely resolution of unpaid accounts.
Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to assist in resolving billing discrepancies.
Work efficiently within established quality and production standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and insurance providers to address and resolve billing issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications and account statuses.
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in medical billing and understanding of insurance processes.
Strong knowledge of billing procedures and the ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
