GRN Lincoln Square is working with a legacy healthcare provider that is actively looking for an Administrator for a 120+ bed LTAC/Skilled Nursing Care facility in the City of Chicago. Our client is a well-respected mission-driven provider that serves vulnerable populations. This role requires the candidate to be on-site.
Role Overview
The Administrator is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. This role focuses on creating a safe, efficient, and therapeutic environment for clients and staff while meeting operational goals.
Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance:
Develop and enforce policies and procedures to meet all city, state, federal, and accreditation standards.
Ensure consistent compliance with healthcare regulations and reimbursement guidelines.
Operational Oversight:
Supervise all departments to maintain an efficient, safe, and therapeutic environment.
Coordinate health services and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality care.
Oversee daily operations and address challenges proactively.
Enforce policies and procedures.
Client Care:
Prioritize the safety and well-being of clients, according to IDPH regulations and facility policies and procedures.
Provide care to best meet clients' treatment plans.
Investigate any cases of client mistreatment and ensure corrective actions.
Promote evidence-based practices and a client-centered wellness model.
Human Resources Management:
Support HR policies, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and compliance with labor laws.
Foster a positive workplace culture and provide leadership to enhance staff performance.
Qualifications
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Illinois required.
Facility Leadership experience required.
Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
Expertise in long-term care regulations, reimbursement practices, and nursing procedures.
Strong skills in leadership, strategic planning, communication, and staff development.
Understanding of best practices in mental health treatment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
