Job Description:

GRN Lincoln Square is working with a legacy healthcare provider that is actively looking for an Administrator for a 120+ bed LTAC/Skilled Nursing Care facility in the City of Chicago. Our client is a well-respected mission-driven provider that serves vulnerable populations. This role requires the candidate to be on-site.

Role Overview

The Administrator is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. This role focuses on creating a safe, efficient, and therapeutic environment for clients and staff while meeting operational goals.

Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance:
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to meet all city, state, federal, and accreditation standards.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with healthcare regulations and reimbursement guidelines.

Operational Oversight:
  • Supervise all departments to maintain an efficient, safe, and therapeutic environment.
  • Coordinate health services and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality care.
  • Oversee daily operations and address challenges proactively.
  • Enforce policies and procedures.

Client Care:
  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of clients, according to IDPH regulations and facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide care to best meet clients' treatment plans.
  • Investigate any cases of client mistreatment and ensure corrective actions.
  • Promote evidence-based practices and a client-centered wellness model.

Human Resources Management:
  • Support HR policies, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and provide leadership to enhance staff performance.

Qualifications
  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Illinois required.
  • Facility Leadership experience required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
  • Expertise in long-term care regulations, reimbursement practices, and nursing procedures.
  • Strong skills in leadership, strategic planning, communication, and staff development.
  • Understanding of best practices in mental health treatment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
