Optomi, in partnership with a market leader in the entertainment industry is seeking a Software Engineer for a position out of their Orlando, FL office. This candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable, high-volume software systems and client-facing web applications in the Supply Chain and Logistics domain. This project will consist of transitioning three legacy systems to a new system, focusing on purchasing, warehousing, stock management, and inventory systems.

Experience of the right candidate:
Bachelors and/or Masters in STEM or equivalent in relevant experience.
5+ years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of large-scale, high-volume software systems and client-facing applications.
Experience with Supply Chain ERP systems (e.g., purchasing, warehousing, inventory management).
Proficiency in Java, GCP (or AWS), GKE, Terraform.
Experience with MongoDB Atlas, including database design, development, and management.
Familiarity with development tools: Eclipse, GitLab, CI/CD, Maven, Jenkins.
Strong understanding of JSON messaging, SOAP/REST web services, and API integration.
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with Blue Yonder forecasting and replenishment solutions.
Experience with Crunchtime ERP for foodservice management.
Knowledge of Supply Chain systems including WMS, logistics, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
Design, develop, and implement scalable, high-volume software systems and client-facing web applications in the Supply Chain and Logistics domain.
Work on the integration and migration of Supply Chain ERP systems, including warehouse management, purchasing, and inventory control systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment (2-week sprint cycles) to ensure smooth data conversion and system transitions.
Participate in the development of RESTful APIs and web services, including SOAP and JSON messaging.
Contribute to the configuration and maintenance of cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS is acceptable).
Utilize development tools such as Eclipse, GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient deployment and continuous integration.
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members, ensuring high-quality, efficient delivery of work.
