Marathon TS is looking for a Senior Test Engineer that will support the research, development, test and evaluation (T&E) of security systems for components of their client. The Senior Test Engineer is primarily responsible for evaluating the holistic system and determining how changes affect system operation and/or performance.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Systems Evaluation
Follows government and industry-level guidance and best practices found in ANSI/EIA 649C (Revised February, 2019), INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook (4th Ed.), and/or ISO 10007.
Reviews vendor Qualification Data Packages (QDP's) and/or all applicable system design documentation.
Lead role to facilitate the establishment of the developmental system architecture and initial configuration baselines, performing configuration audits, change management, and so forth for systems entering test.
Performs systems engineering critical functions analysis and gap analysis to ensure proposed configuration items (CIs) align correctly with the technical requirements for the technology or system under test.
Supports configuration control board process.
Serves as the point of contact for technology vendors regarding management of system engineering and configuration.
QDP and system design documentation review.
Development of system architecture and configuration baselines documentation.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
Leading test engineers in test planning, conduct test execution methodology, data collection/reduction/analysis, and technical report writing. Familiarity with DoD and/or Client test and evaluation policies, procedures and documentation is required.
Perform engineering design reviews, and engaging representatives of Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and working directly with vendors and stakeholders in enhancing technologies and capabilities in developmental lifecycle support.
Reviews vendor Qualification Data Packages (QDP's) and/or all applicable system design documentation.
Lead role facilitating the establishment of initial configuration baselines, configuration audits, change management, and so forth for hardware systems entering test.
Reviews change packages and supports the configuration control board process.
Serves as the point of contact for technology vendors regarding management of system engineering and configuration.
Writes and conducts reviews of technical documentation.
Mentors and supports junior engineers.
Follows government and industry-level guidance and best practices found in ANSI/EIA 649C (Revised February, 2019), INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook (4th Ed.), and/or ISO 10007.
Interact directly with the client on a regular basis and must have strong oral and written communication skills. Additionally, candidate should also have excellent computer skills including expertise in the use of applicable Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
