Responsibilities:
Professional services are needed for Juniper Apstra installation, configuration, and training.
Will install the necessary Juniper Apstra Virtual Machines on VMware hosts provided by the State Engineers.
The vendor will configure the Apstra systems to enable Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP)for the newly acquired Juniper QFX switches designated for the data center fabric. The vendor will handle the remote aspects of the ZTP process, ensuring all new switches have clean, properly configured setups.
All configurations must follow Juniper Validated Designs (JVDs). Additionally, the vendor will configure the Apstra Blueprint to incorporate VXLAN and EVPN. The vendor will set up and deploy the underlay network, including up to six VLANs/VXLANs. Training will be provided to ensure the State Engineers can independently deploy additional VLANs or VXLANs.
The vendor will also ensure seamless communication between the new fabric and the existing Nexus environments.
The vendor will configure TACACS+ for Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) within the fabric.
Wherever possible, IPv6 will be used for management. traffic. The vendor must also offer support during the initial cutover event. ETS will provide two Subject Matter Experts, each dedicating 20-30 hours per week to the project.
