Overview
Coldwater Creek and Soft Surroundings have an amazing opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing projects related to all IT areas, including Dynamics 365, data warehouse, and business intelligence development. You will manage multiple complex technical projects for a maturing cross functional development team. You will be responsible for maintaining project costs, scheduling, and quality assurance. You will be responsible for initiating, planning, monitoring, reporting, and closing out of an assigned portfolio of projects. As a member of the IT team, this position reports to our Senior IT Program Manager.
Responsibilities
Works with department leadership and stakeholders to develop project goals and deliverables
Creates project plans including dependencies, communication, scope, budget, timeline, and milestones
Monitors project timelines and holds the IT and cross-functional teams accountable to meet deadlines
Develops and delivers weekly progress reports and escalates progress delays to leadership
Assist with the creation of Standard Operations Procedures and workflows
Maintains project costs, scheduling, and quality assurance of assigned projects
Works with all levels of stakeholders from third-party vendors to develop holistic project plans and manages the third-party vendors to ensure they are meeting deadlines
Manages using Agile project management and SDLC best practices
Has a thorough understanding of business process, resulting data flow, and supporting system properties
Develops and delivers presentations to key stakeholders as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
3+ years IT project management experience, including requirement gathering, project scoping and execution in Jira or similar solution
Experience in a direct to consumer, retail, consumer goods environment preferred
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent field
Experience with project management applications and flowchart software a plus
Hands-On experience in large scale projects and at least one successful implementation of a best-of-breed software solution
Knowledge of an ERP or a database platform (ex. D365, NetSuite, SQL Server, Oracle, etc..)
PM Certification (SCRUM OR PMP) a plus
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
