Titan Advanced Energy Solutions, headquartered in Salem, MA, develops revolutionary, ultrasound-based battery cell inspection systems. We are looking to add a Senior Systems Engineer to our team, who will be responsible for developing and implementing our ultrasound-based, battery diagnostic solutions. These efforts will directly support key Titan business opportunities, making Titan the partner of choice for customers who want leading edge battery cell manufacturing productivity. Titan Advanced Energy Solutions is partnered with customers globally, so the position will likely require 25-30% international and/or domestic travel in the coming year.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop system architecture enhancements and integrate new design requirements through cross-functional collaboration with numerous sub-systems, as we roll out our next generation systems and services.
Design, prototype and test potential solutions.
Develop and execute test plans to validate system performance
Identify and resolve integration and testing issues.
Oversee and execute delivery and deployment of complex hardware and multiple software subsystem solutions at client sets.
Maintain detailed documentation of system designs and development processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
A successful candidate for this position will have five or more years of experience in the areas noted below.
Identifying, designing and communicating solutions architecture and system requirements.
Developing and executing test plans to validate system performance, reliability, and safety.
Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the integration and testing phases.
Designing, building, and testing prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality.
Developing project plans and timelines for system development projects.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to execute and deploy new systems.
Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of system designs, development processes, and test results.
