Job Description:

A Los Angeles based venture capital firm with an impressive portfolio in the health and wellness, technology and consumer space is looking for an innovative, strategic, and entrepreneurial Chief of Staff to join their tight-knit and growing team.

They are looking for someone with a background in investment banking, private equity, venture, and/or investor relations with a minimum of 1-2 years of post grad work experience. Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Act as strategic partner to C-Suite leaders and collaborate with investment, marketing, and operations teams to establish and executive strategic initiatives that drive growth and success of the organization
  • Manage and lead special projects from start to finish while tracking priority initiatives, identify roadblocks, and collaborating with internal team as necessary
  • Oversee company liquidity requirements and capital calls
  • Communicate regularly with C-Suite leaders, portfolio companies, third-party investors, and external stakeholders
  • Support due diligence processes for new investment opportunities
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for C-Suite leaders and external parties
  • Providing client servicing to both existing and prospective investors to support the firm's efforts to service clients and onboard new relationships
  • Prepare and edit marketing materials, investment memos, and other presentations as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, and/or investor relations
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling
  • Familiarity with portfolio management software and databases
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • BA degree is highly preferred, not required
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week is required
