Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for employee benefits and some knowledge of payroll? LHH is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our client's team in Baltimore on a long-term temporary, part-time basis. This role requires on-site presence approximately 20 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time hours on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefits records and documentation.
Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate benefits deductions and contributions.
Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing education to employees about their benefits options.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits.
Assist in the development and implementation of new benefits programs and policies.
Provide support during open enrollment periods and other benefits-related events.
Qualifications:
Some knowledge of payroll processes is required.
Experience with ADP is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in managing benefits records.
