A project manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. They coordinate resources, manage risks, and facilitate effective communication to achieve project objectives and support the company's production goals.
Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, to ensure project requirements are met efficiently.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, assess their impact, and develop mitigation strategies.
Budget Control: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial performance aligns with objectives.
Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication among project stakeholders.
Project Execution: Oversee project execution, ensuring tasks are on time, in budget, and to required standards.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, prepare progress reports, and communicate project status to relevant parties.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to align objectives.
Change Management: Adapt to evolving project requirements, assess the impact of changes, and implement adjustments as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and drive efficiency enhancements to optimize outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the project adheres to relevant legal and regulatory requirements and industry-specific standards.
Procurement and Vendor Management: Coordinate procurement activities and manage vendor relationships.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction.
Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates and budgets for manufacturing projects, ensuring accurate planning.
Innovation and Technology: Explore and implement innovative technologies and manufacturing processes to enhance project efficiency and product quality.
Education and Experience:
Preferred 5 years, minimum 3 years' experience in a corporate engineering setting required
Bachelors degree or additional 4+ years of relevant experience required; engineering or other relevant technical degree strongly preferred
Minimum 3 years of project management experience--PMP or equivalent certification ideal
Working knowledge and proven experience using AutoCAD, Solidworks or other 3D software strongly preferred.
Aerospace industry experience preferred.

The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level. Additions to the compensation packing, including but not limited to paid time off, insurance benefits and 401(k) eligibility, will be outlined at the time of the job offer.
Compensation range: $85,000-$120,000
