About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the building construction of a large-scale, brownfield industrial project. The successful candidate will oversee construction from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. This position demands strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and stakeholder management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Ensure alignment with client requirements and company objectives
- Maintain and analyze project schedules during execution
2. Team Leadership
- Coordinate and motivate project teams
- Manage contractors, procurement, logistics, and subcontractors
- Oversee safety protocols and stakeholder engagement
3. Resource Management
- Optimize efficiency through effective resource allocation
- Manage materials, equipment, and manpower
- Minimize operational downtime
4. Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate potential risks
- Develop preventive strategies for delays and cost overruns
- Address construction challenges proactively
5. Contracts Management
- Negotiate scope, terms, and conditions for major purchase orders
- Oversee subcontract management
6. Communication
- Maintain clear communication channels with all stakeholders
- Provide regular project updates
- Address concerns promptly and effectively
7. Budget and Cost Control
- Monitor project budgets and track expenses
- Implement effective cost-control measures
- Maximize project profitability while ensuring client value
8. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure high satisfaction throughout project lifecycle
- Understand and meet client expectations
Required Qualifications:
- Four-year Construction Management degree, engineering degree, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years' experience in construction, design, and management
- Proven track record in applying innovative management techniques
- Thorough understanding of industry practices and standards
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (Formerly Plangrid) is beneficial

- Industrial construction experience
