The Production Foreman is responsible for overseeing company and/or contract staff in the normal day-to-day operations of company wells. This position is responsible for initiating and actively communicating with team members on all major decisions. The focus is on striving to achieve top HSE performance while maximizing operational efficiencies and asset potential. The successful candidate will have a strong technical working knowledge in compression, gas lift, GAPL, and other artificial lift systems. They must possess the ability to teach, train, and performance manage direct reports.

Oversee the field surveillance of oil and gas production operations
Key objective is to maximize profitability by increasing revenue and/or lowering operating expense
Reports to the Field Production Manager
Major Responsibilities:
Set schedule and daily priorities for operating staff
Participate in facility hazard analysis and design
Lead facility commissioning effort and transition facility from flowback to production
Ensure proper PLC programming set-points are in place
Diagnose artificial lift issues
Optimize compression and other operating systems
Oversee chemical program and monitoring
Ensure proper daily production data entry
Ensure SCADA system is functional and reading correctly
Mentor operating team and provide skills assessment
Assist with budget preparation and cost control
Interface with working interest partners, service companies, and regulatory agencies
Ensure that contractors are working in a safe manner and following safety and environmental protocols
Qualifications and Capabilities
10+ years of related industry experience with majority of time based in the field
Fluency in written and spoken use of the English language is required
Current and up to date software capability using office and collaborative applications is required
Excellent written and spoken communication skills are required
Ability to work alone under own initiative, or in close collaboration with immediate leadership and production/facility engineering team is required
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues with attention to compression and gas lift
Position will require significant time in the field
Salary Range: $130,000 to $170,000 depending on experience
