Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to manage and modify the tool design process in a medical manufacturing facility!
Key Responsibilities
- Update, maintain, and organize drawing sets and technical documentation to meet specifications.
- Modify existing tool designs, create new designs, and implement improvements to injection molds in consultation with stakeholders.
- Source and procure tool spare parts and electrodes, maintaining an updated list of quotations.
- Communicate technical information and coordinate effectively with internal teams.
- Identify and implement process changes and operational improvements within the area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and uphold 5S principles to maintain an organized workspace.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and company standards.
- Actively support organizational goals within the GMS framework.
Qualifications
- Completion of a vocational training program (e.g., Technical Product Designer), with CAD/CAM training.
- At least three years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Creo, HyperMill) and strong knowledge of injection mold design.
- Competence in IT tools, including MS Office, and a basic understanding of injection mold technology.
- A technical mindset with strong design, communication, and analytical skills.
- Motivated, adaptable, and accountable team player with emotional resilience.
- Familiarity with injection mold repair and innovation methods.
