SUMMARY:
The following is a brief description of responsibilities to be performed by the Ecomm Fraud Prevention Analyst. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Seasonal until 1/31/2025
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review incoming transactions to detect and prevent fraud in a CNP (Card-Not-Present) environment
Authenticate transactions using multiple data sources and data sets with a high degree of accuracy
May contact customers to verify or explain unusual account activity
Collaborate with Customer Service Department on various aspects of gift card processes
Address all chargebacks within various payment portals by providing all necessary case information
Investigate package claims tied to risk, severity and velocity
Monitor payment gateway health as the first line of defense against various fraud attacks
Meet defined Customer Service Department SLAs
Drive improvement of internal processes for increased operational efficiency
Responsible for identifying security procedure opportunities/exposures and provide recommendations to manager
Collaborate with different departments and teams to improve fraud prevention strategies
Rely on Standard Operating Procedures to perform job functions
Flexibility to work various shifts
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Zero (0) to one (1) year in payment fraud investigations, preferably in a CNP environment
Zero (0) to one (1) year in customer service, preferably in a CNP environment
High School Diploma required
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred (Criminal Justice, Statistics, Banking, Finance, etc.)

What to Expect?
Hourly Salary Range: $18-$20: Offer placement within this range is dependent on a variety of factors, including prior relevant experience, qualifications, and skill set.
Based out of HQ in Irvine, CA with a minimum of 4 days in office.
