SEDA-Council of Governments is a local development district serving 11 counties within central PA. We are looking for a detail-oriented and team player to join our fiscal team.

Primary responsibilities of the candidate include:
Preparing monthly grant invoices and grant financial reporting for SEDA-COG's Transportation department
Prepare monthly invoices and contract reconciliations for SEDA-COG's Weatherization department
Prepare monthly treasurer's report for SEDA-COG's Joint Rail Authority
Process vendor invoices and payments for SEDA-COG's Joint Rail Authority
Reviewing and using reports from SEDA-COG's Fiscal Controller
Tracking department expenses and subcontractor costs
Supporting the development and maintenance of the SEDA-COG Transportation department budget and Unified Planning Work Program funding tables
Assisting agency staff and external auditors with oversight and compliance activities consistent with grantor program guidelines
Assisting with research, analysis, and interpretation of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to transportation planning funding
Identifying and implementing continued process improvements
Required qualifications/skills:
Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Public Administration)
At least two years of related job experience
Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles
Experience working with state/federal government grant funding is preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs especially Excel
Solid mathematical skills with an emphasis on financial analyses
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
Effective organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to meet monthly and quarterly deadlines
