The Sr. Manager - Digital Trust Compliance role is a crucial role that will be at the forefront of supporting key strategic initiatives and risks, including implementation of new or existing technologies and governance processes for data subject rights compliance in the US and internationally. Shaping Walmart's ethical use of data and responsible use of technology.
Reporting to the Director, Program Management, Digital Trust Compliance, the Sr. Manager will collaborate with technology, business, and Global Governance partners in the digital trust space to implement technology controls/activities, develop and monitor processes, and operationally oversee our data subject rights processes.
What you'll do...
Delivering world class execution of our data privacy program and playing a central role to build Digital Trust from our customers and our responsible use of technology and data, by overseeing operational execution of data subject rights processes, integrations and execution.
Manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives related to our data privacy rights program, including overseeing data mapping, technical verification processes, implementation of specific technical capabilities across teams not under our direct line of reporting, build relationships across a broad landscape of stakeholders, Coordinate and facilitate implementation of new state privacy laws and consulting with various business and technical teams on Digital Trust Compliance areas of expertise.
Contribute and Collaborate within a high performing team solving complex US data privacy rights obligations. Sharing knowledge, best practices with a culture of candor and transparency.
Maintain formal process documents (e.g. procedures and diagrams), and document processes and projects (creating presentations, business cases, and diagrams)
Collaborate with legal and privacy stakeholders to ensure alignment of decisions and execution within the program. Centrally tracking decision or approval procedures across various workstreams.
Managing and reporting out on status of initiatives within the program and provide analysis and solutions to roadblocks to the program. Contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Build business process flow visualizations at the process level across all domains.
Collaborates cross-functionally on assignments with internal and external stakeholders to understand the results of data analyses and research by communicating results and findings.
Collects, organizes, and validates data, processes, and information by conducting process observations, mapping, interviews, time studies, data mining and trend analyses; utilizing multiple internal and external sources; and analyzing data using basic statistical techniques.
What you will bring...
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, process management or improvement, or law AND 3+ years of relevant work experience in compliance, operations management, technology or information security, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience in compliance, operations management, technology or information security
Background in process and program development, privacy, technology or data is a plus
Experience working with other teams to implement compliance controls
Ability to use data to improve processes and drive decisions
Strong communication skills, building relationships, critical thinking, and attention to detail

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
