This Accounting Clerk position will perform the necessary clerical work for accurate accounting practices.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Review and approve employees' expense reports in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
Communicate with employees to clarify any questions or discrepancies related to expense reports.
Provide timely responses to employee inquiries regarding reimbursement status and procedures.
Reconcile company credit card expenses on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide supporting documents for any clarification and auditing purposes.
Process reimbursement payments expeditiously upon approval of the reports.
Prepare journal entries for employee advancements and employee reimbursements using SAP software as required.
Perform general office support such as filing and other administrative tasks
Assist senior accounting personnel with tasks conducted within accounting department
Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
COMPETENCIES
Basic data entry and/or word processing skills.
Records maintenance skills.
Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in an office environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk; or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
