THE ROLE:
General Lab Support for Client Notebook and Desktop products
THE PERSON:
A candidate with a passion for technology and computers, with strong verbal and communicative skills, and excels in a team/lab environment. Hands-on skills in building & debugging Client PC systems, execution of manual and automated testing, with good lab organizational & housekeeping skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain lab space, test racks, infrastructure, & test equipment • Update and maintain Inventory SOR • Soldering • Support engineers with automated and manual test execution on multiple platforms • Support root cause failure analysis with software and hardware debugging utilities/tools. • Build, Configure, Support, and Troubleshoot lab systems, both hardware and software. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE • Level 2 or better at soldering • Inventory SOR knowledge • Basic electronics knowledge • Basic Microsoft product experience • PC build knowledge • Basic shooting skills
