Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager for an extended contract opportunity located in both the Louisville or Lexington area. This PM will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of transmission line and substation projects. Daily responsibilities will include coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. They will also develop detailed project plans, manage schedules using Primavera 6 software, and ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. This role will involve conducting site visits to monitor progress, addressing any issues that arise, and ensuring that all work adheres to the highest quality standards. They will also prepare and present comprehensive project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a PMP Certification and industry experience working with substations.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
Professional working experience in Project Management of construction at an electric utility company
Professional working experience with Primavera 6 Software
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
PMP Certification
GIS and ESRI experience
Professional working experience with substations
Compensation:
$80/hr to $150/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
