Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure alignment with production and customer demands.
Analyze inventory variances, investigate discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
ERP System Utilization:
Use the ERP system to track and update inventory records digitally.
Identify and resolve system-related inventory issues, ensuring data accuracy.
Collaborate with IT to optimize ERP functionality for inventory management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with the accounting team to reconcile inventory reports and support month-end close activities.
Work with the quality assurance team to address inventory issues related to product quality and compliance.
Provide inventory insights to production, procurement, and sales teams to aid decision-making.
Process Improvement:
Evaluate current inventory procedures and identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and implement best practices for inventory tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in an inventory-focused role within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using ERP systems for inventory tracking (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools.
