Our client is hiring a bilingual Bookkeeper for Condominium Sunny Isle, a 428-
unit, self-managed property. Sunny Isle is an older building (built in 1965) that is
currently undergoing concrete restoration and electrical work for its 50-year recertification.
The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping responsibilities and assist with reception duties, working closely with the building's 12 employees (6 maintenance, 3 housekeeping, 3 building management). This role is essential for ensuring both financial accuracy and excellent resident interactions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and oversee bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining financial records and generating reports.
Use TOPS software for building management functions.
Prepare and review financial statements in line with accounting standards.
Act as a point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and professionally providing assistance.
Collaborate with a close-knit team (building manager, operations director, security supervisor) and support other roles as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Key Qualifications:
Experience with TOPS software for building management.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
Fluent in English and Spanish to communicate effectively with residents and team
members.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage positively with residents.
A team player who is willing to assist in different roles as part of the four-person
management team.
