Harrison Gray Search is searching for a Customer Service Representative to join our client's team in Wausau, Wisconsin. Our client is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Wisconsin.
Qualified candidates will hold their Property & Casualty License and have personal and/or commercial lines experience.
In this role, you will work with the account manager, prepare proposals, answer incoming phone calls, greet and direct insurance office visitors, enter change requests and endorsements, and maintain our agency management system with current information.
Production Support
Works with team members to complete and submit applications to appropriate providers.
Creates proposals, renewal summaries, and general correspondence.
Updates and maintains accurate records in the agency management system.
Manages new business, renewals, cancellations, and endorsement requests.
Prepares various documents such as certificates, binders, and surety bonds.
Manages Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) requests and trucking certificates.
Administers requests for changes and endorsements.
Answers phone calls, greets visitors, and provides assistance.
Acts as a backup for front desk duties when needed.
Administrative
Organizes work tasks and resources to meet deadlines following set procedures.
Handles various tasks using discretion, judgment, and initiative within general guidelines.
Responds to phone calls and emails in a timely and effective manner.
Performs basic office duties such as emailing, filing, scanning, copying, and faxing.
Customer Service
Provides high-quality service to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Offers friendly and helpful support to both internal and external customers.
Addresses customer questions and resolves complaints promptly and effectively.
Works professionally and respectfully with team members, clients, and vendors.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Work experience required to perform this job satisfactorily is typically acquired through a minimum of one-year insurance industry experience in personal lines.
