Job Description:

Commercial Lines Account Manager

This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Lines Account Manager at Bidwell Insurance Agency, Inc. located in Chico, CA. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of commercial accounts, maintaining client relationships, processing policy renewals, and providing guidance on insurance products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain updates and generate applications for renewals.
  • Remarket renewal applications.
  • Prepare binders, certificates, billing and premium finance agreements.
  • Make and received phone calls and emails from clients, producers and companies.
  • Creates certificates of insurance.
  • Document, document, document in CRM.
  • Assist with audit issues.
  • Assist with claim issues.
  • Maintain files in an orderly, up-to-date manner.
  • Follow agency E&O guidelines.
  • Prepare expired policies for archiving.
  • Prioritize work load and/or request assistance when necessary.
  • Prepare proposals and complete application in coordination with producer; submit applications to eligible and appropriate carriers; obtains client signatures on all applications; follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
  • Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals as needed for account review.
  • Participate in seminars and other training to maintain required licenses and for knowledge and skill development.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications
  • Valid Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • Experience as a Commercial Account Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in handling client accounts and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Team player.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Positive attitude & 100% effort.

We ditched the well-known agency management systems and are using software customized for our client management function. We use separate software for both applications and certs.

We are looking for someone with experience who wants a change of scenery and pace. We are a small agency and care about doing the right thing as a team. Our book is dynamic in terms of accounts and account locations.
