Role Overview:
In this fast-paced, highly interactive role, you will contribute to the achievement of net sales, profit and share objectives by partnering with department heads to provide timely financial analysis and insights to facilitate sound business decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst position provides you with an opportunity to influence price and promotional activities with our major strategic customers. As an active contributor, and often ad hoc leader, the incumbent performs financial, business, and strategic analyses and recommends courses of action that help enable the function and Solaris to meet its business and financial objectives. This role reports to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide timely financial and operational analysis of distinct business projects or initiatives and serve as a key participant in key FP&A activities (business and strategic planning, budgeting, etc.), business case development, and financial competency building
Establish, maintain and operate financial processes that provide timely, accurate and meaningful data to corporate, function, and business management to continually improve ROI.
Provide ongoing global budget and spending control oversight to the functional teams.
Coordinate, review, and develop business investment proposals that support timely and profitable business decisions, and complete audits of projects to determine profitability and achievement of original objectives.
Demonstrate a commitment to quality performance through personal example by adopting a customer-based approach to business support
Drive process improvements designed to increase efficiency within the function and organization.
Enhance the position by thoroughly reviewing all activities performed in order to improve the quality and productivity of services provided
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA desirable).
3 plus years prior financial analysis experience supporting functional and / or business unit operations.
Strong communication skills and ability to build a compelling business case.
Experience in a global / international manufacturing environment desired.
