CFO Position - Hybrid in Louisville, KY (open to other locations)
The CFO is responsible for overseeing the organization's fiscal operations, managing risks, and driving financial strategy. This role requires expertise in financial management, from accounting to investments, and strong leadership skills as it supervises key departments. The CFO ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, safeguards revenues, and drives sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct the organization's financial operations, performance, and risk management.
Collaborate with executives on strategic planning, long-term goals, and financial forecasting.
Develop policies and systems to improve organizational effectiveness.
Advise on mergers, acquisitions, investments, and financial strategies.
Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and banking relationships.
Ensure legal compliance in all financial reporting and contracts.
Lead and mentor finance, HR, and legal teams, promoting efficiency and growth.
Conduct due diligence on acquisitions and integrate them into company systems.
Stay current on industry trends and legal changes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CFO or similar role, with 10-15 years in finance leadership.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field; MBA/MSc preferred.
Experience in IT and staffing industries is a plus.
Expertise in financial law, risk management, data analysis, and strategic planning.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Leads finance, accounting, HR, and legal departments.
