CLIENT PARTNER PROFILE & VALUE PROPOSITION: Leapros has been engaged by a Southern CA based home builder to fill a Financial Analyst role. Position is 100% in office and is located in Irvine.
POSITION TITLE: Financial Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY: The financial analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing financial data to help the business make informed decisions. They create financial models, forecast future performance, and provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes. Financial analysts also prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate their findings to stakeholders, requiring strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Create, modify, and troubleshoot dynamic Excel spreadsheets for cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and economic benchmarking.
Project Proformas: Update and maintain individual project proformas for all City Ventures projects, ensuring timely delivery for quarterly business plan updates and periodic project reports
Budget Oversight: Oversee project budgets by uploading, maintaining, and processing budget revisions.
Reports: Assemble and compile various reports for quarterly board meetings, ensuring all information is accurate and presented clearly.
Assist Accounting and Finance department with various projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
Understanding of real estate preferably Homebuilding or Construction.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Experience with accounting, financial modeling, and analysis.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge with ERP systems.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: A reasonable estimate of the available {annual or hourly} pay scale for this position is: $75,000-$85,000 per year. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
