The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and CMBS having secured loan approvals exceeding $2 billion, with strong established relationships with the said institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage large-scale financial transactions with a focus on Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and CMBS-related financing for the company's expansion projects.
Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize cash flow, profitability, and growth opportunities within the franchise business model.
Oversee the preparation and submission of loan applications exceeding $2 billion, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements.
Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key financial partners, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and CMBS, to facilitate funding opportunities.
Provide expert financial guidance on capital structuring, debt management, and risk mitigation for franchise operations.
Collaborate with the executive team to create financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.
Monitor financial performance, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Act as a liaison between the corporation, lenders, and other financial institutions, ensuring clear communication and successful loan outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in financial management within the real estate, mortgage, or franchise industries.
At least 5+ years of experience working with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and CMBS financing structures.
Track record of securing loan approvals of $2 billion or more from Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.
Strong relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and CMBS executives, underwriters, and decision-makers.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, lending guidelines, and loan products offered by these institutions.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to create sophisticated financial models.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external financial partners.
Ability to provide strategic financial advice to the leadership team, particularly concerning debt management and capital acquisition.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar financial certification is highly desirable.
Experience in franchise or corporate finance is a plus.
