As part of our ongoing efforts to support federal government contracts, we are seeking skilled Web Content Managers and Web Strategists with experience in managing web projects for the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with DSG's Communications Department to plan, develop, and manage web content that aligns with strategic objectives.
Lead major web initiatives, including continuous improvement projects, to enhance user experience and functionality.
Ensure website content is fully accessible and compliant with federal plain language guidelines.
Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and promote it through effective search engine marketing strategies.
Write programming scripts to improve site functionality, performance, and user experience as needed.
Track and analyze website traffic, user engagement, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive content strategy and improvements.
Maintain detailed project documentation for ongoing and future web development efforts.
Qualifications:
Web Strategist:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Drupal developer on government websites, preferably for the DOJ.
Experience leading large-scale web projects and strategic initiatives.
Web Content Manager:
Minimum 3 years of experience creating, updating, and managing web content under tight deadlines for government clients, especially the DOJ.
Proficiency in web accessibility standards and federal plain language principles.
Both Roles:
Proven ability to deliver projects on time while working in fast-paced environments.
Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Education: Master's degree in Computer Science (preferred).
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance by contract start date.
