Position: Assembler/Machine Operator – Full-time employment!
Pay: $19.33/hr. Opportunity for overtime as well!
Shifts:
Night Shift - 2/2/3 schedule with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off! 7pm to 7am
Training: Training will take place on 1st Shift for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Who Are We?
Our Florence, SC distribution center charges, packages and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, and motorcycles. We have been here since 2007 and now employ more than 285 people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and received the United Way Campaign Excellence Award annually since 2015. Our employees also support the American Heart Association.
Primary Duties:
Move batteries through and out of formation process including testing, acid filling and make up of lifts for hirise boosting.
Operates level selector power belt on exit conveyor to hirate station for storage table being unloaded.
Disconnects forming cables. Removes jumpers and pushes batteries out of conveyor table.
Removes card for rectifier, records information, and places on one battery being pushed out.
May obtain lubrication pump tank and spray gun and spray up lubrication on feed conveyor, storage table, and exit conveyor.
Removes in-process vent and top off batteries with acid using an immersion top off machine.
Moves batteries into and out of machines by pushing by hand. Required to align remaining batteries in cradle prior to immersion.
Gets process or finish vent caps from temporary storage.
Responsible for assembling correct process or finish vent caps on all batteries.
Performs OCV check on 100% of batteries before pile hirise.
Defective batteries are to be tagged and removed from production.
Get plywood base from temporary storage and position to metal stand.
Get short and long wooden uprights from temporary storage to work place.
May lift or slide batteries from conveyor to plywood base, positioning each battery to insure proper polarity.
Positions long and short wooden uprights between batteries to properly support batteries stacked ten high.
Obtains wire jumpers and connects batteries in series using jumpers.
Insures good contact with terminal by giving connect a quarter twist.
Tests circuits to insure positive contact.
May keep record of production and rejects.
May perform other duties as directed to assist in achieving production requirement. Responsible for keeping work area neat and orderly.
Small tools, cleaning materials, immersion topoff machine, vent caps, stacking boards, uprights, conveyors, jumpers, record cards, OCV and circuit tester, broom, shovel, etc.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred not required.
1+ year(s) of manufacturing experience.
Must be able to perform basic math functions.
Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time.
Must be comfortable working in a hot environment.
Comfortable with work overtime as needed along with potential working weekends.
