Key Responsibilities:
Distribution Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to drive distribution goals.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, product placements, and sales performance within the assigned territory.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize relationships with distributor representatives, maximizing sales opportunities and visibility for our brand.
On-Premise Development:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key on-premise accounts, including bars, restaurants, and nightlife venues.
Execute targeted sales initiatives to secure menu placements, promotional activities, and staff training opportunities.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand the brand's presence in the on-premise channel.
Brand Advocacy:
Act as a brand ambassador, delivering compelling presentations and tastings to educate customers and staff about our products.
Partner with marketing teams to execute on-premise activations and events that enhance brand awareness and consumer engagement.
Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences.
Performance Tracking:
Analyze sales data, prepare performance reports, and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making.
Regularly review KPIs with Southern Glazer's team to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Track market trends and competitor activity to adapt strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in on-premise sales, account management, or a related role within the spirits industry.
Proven experience managing distribution relationships with Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
Strong knowledge of the on-premise channel, including key account management and sales strategies.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Results-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in brand-building and executing marketing initiatives within the on-premise space.
Knowledge of emerging trends in the spirits industry and a passion for craft or premium brands.
