Advise Department of Media, Culture & Communication's MA students on academic, career, and personal matters. Develop and deliver innovative and dynamic student services and special events, seminars, and workshops to meet the ongoing needs of students. Oversee graduate student organization.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Master's Degree
Required Experience:
2+ years experience advising and counseling students at the college or university level or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, listening, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to plan and deliver special events and seminars. Knowledge of standard office software.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Must be well versed in quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data in NYU systems and be able to strictly follow data privacy and security procedures for data handling and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and institutional standards.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $82,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
