Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor is primarily responsible for compliant and efficient daily operations of Warehouse. Responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the Warehouse, Material Coordinators, and Fork Truck Drivers. Responsible for adherence to schedules and deadlines.



Responsibilities

• Responsible to maintain safe, compliant, and efficient operation of Warehouse.
• Schedule personnel as required to meet daily needs.
• Manage staff performance and development.
• Support material needs of all departments and work closely with manufacturing to ensure all materials are staged for scheduled jobs.
• Oversee daily receiving, shipping, and storage operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities and LN transactions.
• Train and monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices.
• Work closely with EHS to ensure compliance in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company policies
• Perform weekly walk-throughs of all warehouses, identify and correct issues.
• Ensure all warehouse equipment and space is properly maintained and serviced.
• Subject Matter Expert for Warehouse for changes, updates, etc.
• Participate in cross-departmental teams, helping identify process improvements, cost savings, and elimination of redundancy in processes.
• Maintain cGMP standards in all areas of operation.
• Participate in all warehouse tours, including agency and client audits.
• Process / enter departmental payroll requirements weekly.
• Within area of responsibility, understand and comply with all safety, environmental, DEA and quality practices and procedures as outlined in organizational/departmental guidelines and SOPs as well as applicable federal, state and local regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

• Heavy Shipping experience both domestic and international



Qualifications



• High School Diploma required. AS degree a plus.
• 3 years experience in materials management and/or warehousing.

• Experience in regulated industry a plus.
• High mathematical aptitude and good communication skills.
• Must be proficient in an ERP system.

• Team player with the ability to perform multiple tasks on a daily basis, make routine decisions and resolve problems.
• Must be detail oriented.
