Overview

Perform experiments in a neuroscience laboratory, maintain records, and perform laboratory administrative duties; Assist lab staff with experiments.

Key Responsibilities & Performance Standards:

1. Maintains laboratory records

2. Performs experiments using a variety of techniques including behavioral assays, immunohistochemistry, and other procedures as needed

3. Attend lab meetings and give regular reports on ongoing experiments

Responsibilities

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field OR
• Associate’s AND 2 years of relevant experience OR
• 3 years of relevant experience OR
• Equivalent combination of training and experience

Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Competencies):

• Basic lab procedures

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Psychology

Experience:

• Experience in physical science research
