Job Summary
In this role, you are the face of ULearn, our learning and development organization, to the internal business units you support. Your role is to consult and solution with the internal business partners you support to understand their team's development needs related to professional, leadership, and DE&I skill development and recommend learning solutions from our enterprise learning portfolio to meet those needs and drive the business forward. You will partner closely with Talent Management, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to execute learning strategies that align and support other talent development activities and needs of the business both broadly across Comcast and for individual teams. You will also help shape the content and experiences for our learning products in partnership with the Enterprise Portfolio team. Success in this role is measured by your ability to drive learning engagement and impact employee's ability to apply critical transferable skills in their day-to-day roles.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
This role is about strategic execution and consultation. Success is determined by how you take the established strategy, drive learning engagement that meets the business' needs and adoption within the groups you support. This is achieved through communication, influencing and collaboration with key partners, and identifying unique ways to bring existing learning to life for teams across Xfinity Growth Innovation and Experience (XGIE) teams.
The complexity of this role is driven by the breadth of the groups supported and the type of creative, yet simple learning solutions you will need to plan and execute across multiple Senior Executive teams. You will be responsible for ensuring execution and follow-up on outcomes of plans.
Meet regularly with HR BP Leads for within XGIE to understand skill development needs for teams supported. Partner with C HQ Talent Management lead to drive consistent skill development and talent development strategies across C HQ teams.
Represent ULearn in XGIE HR SLT and Team meetings.
Lead scoping sessions with XGIE leaders to identify business needs and recommend learning solutions. Co-create collective learning plans with business leaders and HR partners..
Proactively engage leaders on recommendations for learning and development opportunities based on employee feedback, observations, and strategic goals will be key in demonstrating value.
Regularly and consistently follow-up on learning experiences you supported the business with. Gathering feedback, provide insights to business leaders and HR partners, and use findings to adjust execution and approach to continue to drive the learning experience and application of learning.
Present to EVPs/SVPs to gain alignment on collective learning plans and in All Staff meetings to drive excitement and participation in learning experiences.
Lead scoping, intake, and content review efforts for new and refreshed learning products that are part of the Talent Enablement portfolio, including but not limited to Finance related skill courses, Career Wellbeing, Interviewing skills, etc.
Collaborate with peer Product owners, Learning Engagement, Learner Experience Professional team members to produce effective learning solutions.
Develop and implement learning strategies through a digital-first approach that supports large scope initiatives through single business events.
Co-create, maintain learning strategy that yields industry-leading products to our learners.
Manage team capacity, project timelines and budget to meet project deliverables.
Continually enhance our learning products and strategies through data driven insights.
Partner with in-house resources (business unit subject matter experts) and outside consultants to produce innovative learning solutions.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
