Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Madison, WI that is seeking a Technical Support. This is full-time hourly position between the hours of 8a and 4:30p (CST) Monday - Friday, or as needed for department coverage.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Support customers of all technical proficiencies

  • Collaborate with other ITCS staff, IT staff, and vendors to support customers

  • Maintain computer hardware and software, including packaging and deploying software

  • User access provisioning

  • Shipping, receiving, and keeping up-to-date inventory of technical hardware

  • Provides after-hours, on-call support as necessary







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

  • 1+ years of experience in customer technical support preferred

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software

  • SCCM experience

  • Jira Service Desk experience

  • Active Directory Users and Computers experience

  • Exchange experience

  • Self-motivated

  • Adaptable to change

  • Dedicated to self-improvement

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Ability to explain technical solutions to technical and nontechnical individuals in a professional and pleasant manner

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
