The role of the Outside Sales position is a high energy, dynamic corporate, commercial and residential sales representative. Be able to assess company or customer’s needs and specifically cater the outreach to each prospect. Responsible for generating accurate and profitable revenue. Develop relationships and networks that produce referrals and effectively close deals.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to work well under pressure, think outside the box, easily initiate relaxed but informative conversations with prospects, prioritize networking and be highly self-motivated.
Identify preferred corporate prospects through multiple resources and strategic sourcing methods.
Contact potential new commercial customers with the goal of converting prospects into clients.
Conduct discovery calls with prospects to fully understand customer needs
Maintain relevant product and pricing knowledge to educate commercial and residential prospects on services & value propositions.
Follow up on sales leads and develop, nurture, and maintain a robust sales pipeline for commercial and residential customers.
Retain and grow an existing client base.
Actively prepare for and participate in: weekly sales meetings, weekly individual accountability sessions, monthly individual performance reporting, annual performance reviews.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date CRM system.
Deliver feedback to the other departments and leverage every resource available.
Consistently review your role’s KPIs as defined by sales leadership, to ensure you exceed activity, discovery calls, qualified sales opportunities, etc
Network and build relationships.
Gain access to potential residential, corporate and commercial moving and storage clients.
Generate profitable leads and close deals.
Produce above average results and exceed sales goals.
Build quality and accurate quotes.
The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
The ability to communicate and interface with many corporate and employee levels.
The ability to multitask and maintain high levels of customer services.
Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Must have high integrity and ethics!
3-5 years of experience working in Moving industry is strongly preferred.
Selling and closing skills and extensive follow-up skills.
Working knowledge of social media, marketing strategies and face to face networking.
Must be able to generate new sales and increase existing sales.
Must be able to convert pipeline to actual clients.
Positive, proactive, and professional demeanor.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient using MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and other Microsoft Office products.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record as defined by safety team.
The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, rates, commissions, percentages.
