The Applied Research Senior Engineer for the Department of Physics leads the design of application specific integrated circuits (ASICs or chips) for applications in high energy physics; leads the design and fabrication of the test systems for the ASICs; supervises technicians/students in design, fabrication, and testing; organizes the design/testing in meetings with international collaboration partners; maintains the design software licenses, computers, and equipment in the labs; assists in papers and proposal writings.
Education
Required - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
Desired - Master's degree
Qualifications
Required - 4 years of experience in the design, fabrication and testing of circuits
Target Hiring Range - $87,400.00 - $114,900.00
