The Welder will perform a variety of welding operations on carbon steel, stainless steel and galvanized materials for pipe hangers and fittings.

Essential Duties:

We are seeking a Welder at our Henderson, TN facility.

• Read blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
• Weld components using welding equipment
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
• Must follow all safety practices and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• All other duties/tasks as assigned

Benefits & Compensation:

• Pay rate $20.86 per hour

All job offers are contingent upon post-hire requirements: successful background check, drug screen/physical, and completion of required paperwork

Required Skills:

• Requires standing up to 10 hours per day
• Proven experience as welder with technical school certification
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, FR clothing etc.)
